Writer and Filmmaker – Suchet Budon

Suchet has a passion for filmmaking and photography, since his childhood. He also has 2 years of training as an actor for theatre, TV, and film as a drama student, as well as a BA Honours in Animation. He is skilled in filmmaking, animation, visual effects, sound production, and screenwriting.

His final year movie project at University of Wolverhampton won him the award for Best Sound on a Movie – Animation students Degree Show Exhibition 2005, which led him to work as a documentary filmmaker and photographer for BBC DJ SonnyJi, who hired him based on his passion, above his qualifications, his award, and his experience.

Suchet writes screenplays for his own movie work – He has currently written 2 scripts which he is producing and directing called ‘RAHANA’, and ‘WAITING FOR SUMMER’ – He is also writing a martial arts movie called THE SENSEI, and has written an audio drama called CODEY.

Suchet also works as a content designer/writer . He writes for Government and Private sector clients. This involves writing content for websites, apps, presentations, bids, instructions, education, and brand work. He is currently ranked as Number 1 Content Author on the Creativepool website, which is a database of thousands of worldwide designers and artists.

Suchet’s Content Design work consists mainly of writing for clients – While he does include Graphic Design, Sound, and Video work, it’s mainly the written word – Text only jobs that he does on weekdays. His evenings and weekends are when he works on movies. However that’s not a strict rule, he will from time to time do movie, sound, and/or graphic design work in the week if the project interests him enough.
